Reign of the Right Hand
|Name||Barnabas Waltzer I||Age||100|
Born in the small village of Polis, Barnabas had nothing really going for him in life. His parents owned a small farm which generated very little income. When he was 7 he met a group of people recruiting gifted children to study at Intelecta. The group sadly just looked the poor peasant boy over and walked away. Wanting to amount to something more in life he began to study. He would steal old text books from the library, seek the knowledge of the village elders and sit outside classrooms attempting to overhear the lessons. Finally at age 14 he left on his own to seek entrance into the city. He was met by a mechanical being that administered a very arduous test in a wide range of topics. He was successful on the test and continued to be successful throughout his educational career. At the university he met Helen a fellow human scholar whom he fell in love and married. Upon graduation he planned to stay in the city and continue research but the king from his homelands came in search of an advisor. He took this opportunity to help out his family and give them a comfortable life in the place. Barnabas became great friends with the king following him until death.
